About Us & Areas of Expertise

I began my career in the Department of Internal Medicine No. 1 at Semmelweis Hospital in Miskolc, where I furthered my knowledge under the mentorship of Professor Dr László Újszászy. I am currently involved in the care of inpatients and outpatients as a senior consultant and head of department.

My main area of specialisation and primary area of interest is inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) diagnosis and comprehensive care. I carry out gastroscopies and colonoscopies on a daily basis and play an active role in the modern management of patients with inflammatory bowel disease from its biological treatment, emergency endoscopic haemostasis, and the nationwide organised colorectal cancer screening programme.
