Food intolerance machine test

Food intolerance differs from food allergy in that the symptoms do not necessarily appear immediately after eating the trigger food, but may appear days or weeks later, and their severity is affected by the amount of food eaten. Food intolerance can manifest itself in a number of symptoms. The most common are disorders of the digestive tract, such as diarrhoea, constipation, bloating, abdominal cramps, abdominal pain, inflammation of the bowel, but may also include central nervous system complaints - for example insomnia or chronic headache -, skin problems - for example eczema or acne - but also arthritis or chronic bronchitis. There's no known cure for food intolerance - the key is to identify the foods that cause the problem and then eliminate them from your diet. A quick and practical way to assess the foods that cause food intolerance is to food intolerance testing.

What to know about the test

A food intolerance test can give a false negative result if you have been avoiding a food for a long time. If you have been on a more restrictive diet for a longer period of time (for example, no milk or dairy products), you should always challenge your body several times a week for at least 1 month to increase antibody production and get a true result. Of the medications, only steroids and immunosuppressants will affect the result. If you are taking any of these medications, be sure to report them before the test. The Endomedix Food Intolerance Machine Test is not recommended for children under 5 years of age, as the immune system of young children is not yet properly developed at this young age. Food intolerance testing is also not recommended in pregnancy as the developing immune system of the foetus may influence the results obtained.
