The H2, or Hydrogen Exhalation Test, is a painless, non-interventional test for several diseases and sensitivities. As the test requires a special instrument, this test has so far only been available at Endomedix Budapest (District XIII) and Debrecen was carried out at our headquarters. This test is worth having if you experience unpleasant abdominal symptoms after eating dairy products (abdominal pain, bloating, intestinal cramps…).
H2 breath test with lactulose
The h2 breath test with lactulose helps to detect bacteria that have multiplied abnormally in the small intestine – i.e. contaminated small bowel syndrome – indirectly.
Be prepared, however, for these tests to take up to 180 minutes, and for certain special dietary rules to be followed before the test – you will find more details on this under the individual tests.
