In my roles as head of institution and head of department, I attach particular importance to structured, innovative task organisation, teamwork and the effective implementation of preventive public health screening programmes.
About Us & Areas of Expertise
I am a gastroenterologist and consultant in internal medicine with an outstanding track record in hospital practice and organisational management, as well as more than fifteen years’ experience as a department head, and I hold an MSc in healthcare management. Throughout my career, I have gained significant experience in managing high-volume endoscopy units and clinical departments on university campuses. In addition to routine outpatient consultations and emergency endoscopic care, I am actively involved in the work of research ethics committees and in the operational management of national public health screening programmes.
My key areas of expertise and skills:
- State-of-the-art diagnostic and interventional endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy).
- Specialised endoscopic procedures on the bile ducts and pancreatic ducts (ERCP / endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography).
- Active participation in the public health bowel cancer screening programmes in its management and implementation.
- Clinical management and emergency care of complex and acute gastroenterological and internal medicine conditions.
- Healthcare management: structured task organisation, conflict management and optimisation of clinical processes.
