With nearly forty years of endoscopic experience behind him, he has performed approximately 30,000 to 40,000 successful endoscopic examinations and procedures during his career. Thanks to his outstanding clinical expertise, he specialises in the management of gastroenterological conditions that require a more complex and precise surgical approach. He is a strong advocate of diagnostic procedures under general anaesthesia, which prioritise patient comfort and safety.
Main areas of specialisation and therapeutic expertise:
- Gentle and safe endoscopy: A high volume of diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopies and gastroscopies.
- Endoscopic procedures: Performed on an outpatient basis and as part of day-case surgery polyp removals (polypectomy).
