Chief Clinician, Specialist in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology (Endomedix Debrecen)
I am a specialist with roots in Sárospatak, boasting outstanding academic achievements and several decades of clinical experience. I obtained my medical degree with a summa cum laude distinction from the University of Debrecen, and in recognition of my career achievements, I was awarded the state-sponsored László Batthyány-Strattmann Prize. For many years, I also served as chief auditor at the Kenézy Gyula Hospital in Debrecen, which instilled the highest standards of patient safety and quality management into my day-to-day practice.
My main areas of activity and specialisation are for endoscopic examinations (gastroscopy, colonoscopy) and procedures of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, which focuses on outpatient gastroenterological care and the treatment of functional bowel disorders.
During my clinical work, I have gained particular expertise in chronic inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) and in the comprehensive care of patients with pancreatitis. My commitment to research is demonstrated by my participation, as an investigator, in numerous international clinical drug trials (biological therapy studies) aimed at the modern treatment of IBD.
My research and publications focus primarily on the diagnosis of gastric cancer and on investigating the effectiveness of sentinel lymph node mapping techniques.
