The scientific work of Dr. Alajos Takáts Ph.D.
Dr. Alajos Takáts Ph.D. has been a member of the Hungarian Gastroenterological Society (MGT) since 1991. He is a founding member of the Hungarian Helicobacter pylori Working Group within the MGT, and has been the protocol leader and secretary since 2000. He has presented papers and posters on Helicobacter pylori at several national and international congresses. In 1996, he wrote a publication for general practitioners entitled "Browse the literature on famotidine", and in 1997, he published a paper on the relationship between NSAIDs and famotidine, published by Richter G. Rt. In 1998, his first book, "What you need to know about ulcer disease", was published in Springer's Patient Education Books series. In 2000 he co-authored 2 chapters in the MGT-MEDICOM publication "HELICOBACTER PYLORI" in the Consensus booklet series.
