Symptoms of gallbladder inflammation – a condition accompanied by biliary colic, vomiting and fever that requires hospital care.
It often calls for an urgent operation to remove the gallbladder, using either a conventional or a laparoscopic approach.
If acute surgery is not an option, then after treatment with medication it is advisable, at a planned time, to have the gallbladder removed.
Chronic gallbladder inflammation may even be symptom-free, but recurring, less intense symptoms in the gallbladder area are typical.
