Bile testing process

Biliary examination procedure - imaging of the gallbladder and biliary tract is performed on an empty stomach.

Ultrasound, CT or MR are highly effective in the gall bladder and to detect diseases of the bile ducts.

Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is also performed in the fasting state.
This involves swallowing a fibre-optic device through which the bile ducts can be examined and certain therapeutic interventions can be performed.
From bile test uncomfortable, but much less risky than abdominal surgery.
From Epesystem functional tests are less invasive but time-consuming methods.
