Diseases of the oesophagus - diseases of the oesophagus are divided into four main groups:

1. malformations (obstruction, stenosis, membranous and annular, diverticula and diaphragmatic hernia),
2. functional diseases (globus, ruminatio syndrome, functional heartburn, functional chest pain, functional difficulty swallowing),
3. Food-pipe-injuries (Boerhave syndrome, Mallory-Weiss syndrome),
4. with Food-pipeyour own organic diseases (inflammations, tumours, infections, motility disorders).
