About Us & Areas of Expertise

I began my career at the B.A.Z. County Hospital and University Teaching Hospital, Department of Internal Medicine II, where, in addition to providing inpatient and outpatient care, I gained extensive experience in specialist gastroenterology outpatient care. Since 2012, I have also been working as a full-time GP in Miskolc.

My main areas of expertise are the precise performance of endoscopic examinations and surgical procedures of the gastrointestinal tract, as well as clinical research. My primary theoretical and practical areas of interest are the investigation of carbohydrate metabolism disorders, and within this, the milk sugar sensitivity (lactose intolerance) modern diagnosis and care.

Research & Teaching Activities

He is an active member of the Hungarian Society of Gastroenterology (MGT). He regularly updates his scientific knowledge at national professional conferences and continuing professional development courses in Hungary.

  • Residency and specialist training: As a tutor appointed by the University of Debrecen, he was involved in the practical training of residents and young doctors for many years (1995–2012).
  • Vocational training in healthcare: He was also actively involved in the training of specialist nurses; between 1998 and 2000, he taught clinical internal medicine at the Sándor Ferenczi Secondary School of Healthcare.
