Diseases of the colon - among the many diseases of the colon, the most important are inflammations of the colon (inflammatory bowel diseases /Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis/, diverticulitis, infectious inflammations), tumours (polyps, colon cancer), blood supply disorders, movement disorders (constipation, diarrhoea, irritable bowel syndrome).
