Diseases of the pancreas - the three most important diseases of the pancreas are acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer.

Less common diseases are developmental disorders, metabolic/storage diseases affecting the whole body Pancreas(iron and copper metabolism diseases, cystic fibrosis), as well as rare hormone-producing tumours (neuroendocrine tumours, carcinoid tumours).
