In my practice, I follow a biomedical and evidence-based approach, in which my decisions are guided by scientific principles, the latest research findings and the patient’s individual needs. I consider prevention to be of paramount importance; for me, the patient is an active participant in the healing process, rather than a „passive case”.
About Us & Areas of Expertise
I am a consultant in internal medicine and gastroenterology with several decades of clinical and outstanding diagnostic experience. Throughout my career, I have gained significant experience in high-volume endoscopy centres, where, in addition to routine screening examinations, I have also been involved in emergency endoscopic care for decades. It is a source of particular professional pride for me to have been involved, as a founding member, in the establishment of the Endomedix Centre in Szolnok.
In my work, I carry out comprehensive investigations into digestive system disorders in accordance with national and international professional guidelines. My main areas of specialisation and key areas of interest are:
- The digestive organs endoscopic diagnosis (gastroscopy and colonoscopy).
- Stomach and bowel disorders treatment (reflux, gastric ulcer, Helicobacter pylori infection, chronic inflammatory bowel diseases).
- Functional abnormalities of the alimentary tract management (Irritable Bowel Syndrome – IBS, dyspepsia, abnormal bloating, bowel disorders).
- Specific clinical conditions: SIBO (contaminated small bowel syndrome), food intolerance and coeliac disease.
- Special examination of the bile ducts and pancreatic duct: ERCP procedure.
- Preventative screening for bowel cancer.
