Anus – the anus is located behind (below) the external genitals.
Its complex sphincter system and the venous plexus under the skin here play a key role in closing the outlet of the rectum, i.e. the anus. The rectum, or rather its opening, contains a great many nerve endings, which makes it an erogenous zone. The right touch or stimulation can give sexual pleasure.
