Stomach diseases - diseases of the stomach can be divided into the following main groups:

1. acute, chronic and specific types of gastritis and gastropathy,
2. peptic ulcer disease (associated with Helicobacter pylori infection, associated with non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, stress ulcers, associated with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, and Helicobacter pylori negative types [caused by viral infections, toxins, cytostatics, Crohn's disease, or parietal cell overgrowth])
3. developmental disorders (obstruction of the membranes, pylorus), diverticula; functional diseases (functional indigestion, antral dysfunction), cancer.
